The use of various deceptive, fraudulent, or unethical methods to obtain business. Unfair business practices include misrepresentation, false advertising or representation of a good or service, tied selling, false free prize or gift offers, deceptive pricing, and noncompliance with manufacturing standards.
Serious Injury
This includes personal injury, brain injury, and spinal injury.
Sexual Assault
An act in which one intentionally sexually touches another person without that person's consent, or coerces or physically forces a person to engage in a sexual act against their will.
Wage and Hour Law
Workers who believe that they have not been given proper minimum wage or overtime pay, who have been denied breaks or forced to work off the clock can often pursue alleged violations of state and federal labor laws through wage and hour class action lawsuits.

The excessive and unwarranted use of force by law enforcement against an individual or a group. It is an extreme form of police misconduct and is a civil rights violation.
Defamation
The act of communicating to a third party false statements about a person, place, or thing that results in damage to its reputation. It can be spoken or written. It constitutes a tort or a crime.
Consumer Law
The practice of safeguarding buyers of goods and services, and the public, against unfair practices in the marketplace.
